JIMI: A practical tool for discovering data-driven mental health intelligence

The statistics on mental health and wellbeing in Australian workplaces show there is mounting evidence that construction industry workers are more likely to be at risk of being affected by a mental health condition.

As the industry continues to evolve towards mentally healthy workplaces there is a growing need for practical tools to assist workers in improving their mental self-awareness and for employers to be equipped with site-specific data and insights that can transform its mental health response.

Through the successful pilot of the JIMI (Just in case you Missed It) tool, an abundance of traditional paper-based forms and generic presentation-driven resources make way for a simplified, low cost and dynamic online tool. The JIMI is changing perceptions about mental health on site and has the potential to unlock powerful data-driven mental health intelligence for all industries.
