Zero Suicides, simple as that
“I want a society where everyone has a Gotcha4Life mate. That go-to person you can open up to and rely on about anything. A world where we can seek help when life gets challenging, where we can build open and honest relationships and feel comfortable expressing ourselves, no matter what.”
Family man. Friend. Sports Fan. Founder. Australian radio host and TV personality Gus Worland is the driving force behind mental fitness charity Gotcha4Life. Gus set up the not-for-profit foundation in 2017 to help people develop the emotional muscle, resilience and social connections needed to build mental fitness and prevent suicide.
Gus kick starts the conversation about mental health and breaks down the stigma around suicide. He shares his personal experiences, his Gotcha4Life journey and his unwavering belief in the power of prevention through connection. Gus’ presentations engage, educate and empower. He is passionate about inspiring action, creating meaningful mateship and encouraging everyone to speak up, reach out and develop the skills and connections needed for mental wellbeing. He champions Meaningful Mateship and wants everyone to have a Gotcha4Life mate – a go-to person you can rely on and talk to about anything when times are tough, so no one has to worry alone.
