Darren is a former Army Officer and UN Peacekeeper who has transitioned to community sector leadership. Darren has led both national and state-based community organisations for more than a decade. He has been the CEO of Outward Bound Australia and the NSW PCYC (Police Citizens Youth Club). Darren has a MBA from Melbourne Business School, is a graduate of the Harvard Strategic Perspectives in NFP Management Program and recently completed a study tour at the Stanford Centre on Philanthropy and Civil Society sponsored by Perpetual Trustees.
Darren has a strong commitment and passion for mental health and suicide prevention. He is currently leading OzHelp’s national growth and aims to see workplace mental health and wellbeing receive the same priority and focus as physical health and safety.
