Skye Buatava is a senior executive and board member known for integrating commercial strategy with safety governance. Her leadership is grounded in deep private-sector pragmatism, honed across the aviation, telecommunications, and tourism sectors.

As Group Head of Injury Care and Workers Compensation at Woolworths Group, she oversees one of Australia's largest self-insurance portfolios. Her prior experience includes senior director roles with the NSW WHS Regulator and leading the delivery of the 23rd World Congress on Safety and Health at Work.  

Skye serves on the Board of the AIHS and chairs their Policy and Advocacy Committee.  She also resides on the Advisory Panel for the Lloyd's Register Foundation’s Global Safety Evidence Centre, championing safety as a key driver of business performance.
